Take Action

Dental implant treatment process:
Your Journey to a new smile

  •  Step 1: Diagnosis and decision making: You implant team which includes your general dentist will plan to help ensure the best outcome. This is aided by a Cone Beam CT scan.
  • Step 2 : Implant placement: The dental implant is surgically placed in your mouth under Local anesthesia. A 3D printed surgical guide using your CT scan and digital impression may be used. This reduces surgery time and accurate implant placement to the millimeter.
  • Step 3: Healing: Jaw Bone will grow and integrate with the implant surface between  3-4 weeks and a few months.
  • Step 4: Your new teeth are produced. An impression is taken of your implant usually by your general dentist, A dental lab uses this to make your new restoration.
  • Step 5: Placement of final restoration. Your final restoration  is connected to the implant

RULE NUMBER ONE

Is there an age limit to dental implant treatment?

It is possible to place implants in the jaw as soon as the jaw  has stopped growing.
At the other end of the spectrum, there is no upper age limit. In fact, with over 40 million Americans over the age 65 having no teeth. They are ideal candidates for dental implant replacement for fixed and removable dentures.
